With over 25 years of experience in carpentry and construction, Matt Portela brings a deep understanding of all phases of the building process. His journey began at age 20, when he traded his desk job for hands-on carpentry work. Since then, he has worked with a wide range of clients and crews, gaining expertise in new construction, renovations, project management, and custom work—including off-grid island builds, high-end residential homes, and full-scale restorations.
